Before starting the disinfestation procedure, the room or rooms should be prepared appropriately. ULV fogging is a safe and quick procedure, but it is necessary to perform several steps. To maintain safety and facilitate the procedure, you should:
Inspect the apartment/house to see where the most pests are located - this will be very helpful for specialists performing the disinfestation procedure.
Secure everyday items such as toothbrushes, razors, combs, towels, clothing. The greatest attention should be paid to those with which we have direct contact.
All children's toys should be stored in closed containers or secured with foil. Make sure to thoroughly wash toys that have not been secured after the procedure.
Remove decorations, posters, photos and paintings from the walls, you can place them facing the walls to expose their backs.
Protect food products. Since fogging involves forcing the working fluid into every crevice, even the most inaccessible, we must ensure that the food is very carefully protected.
In the case of a bed bug infestation , empty all bed chests and adjacent cabinets and chests of drawers. All textiles (bedding, curtains, throws, etc.) should be removed and washed at high temperatures.
Secure all items that our pets come into contact with: move beds, litter boxes, cages for birds and furry animals. The aquarium should also be secured and filters should be turned off for the duration of the procedure.
If possible, move any fixtures that are adjacent to the walls away, and tilt hanging shelves using a pin so that the smallest possible surface is in contact with the wall.
Leave the apartment during fogging and make sure there are no pets in the apartment (4 hours).
